The Malthouse was where Aimee lived in as a child, and Summers Road was where the business began. Now into it’s fourth year as a full time business, we have a busy workroom and visit our clients in their own homes to discuss their ideas, offer suggestions and provide a quotation.
We have a large and trusted base of suppliers, not only for fabrics, but also tracks and poles, wallpapers, furniture and accessories. We work with suppliers who have high quality but reasonably priced ranges, and favour those who have a particular ethical story, are UK based or are small businesses in their own right. We will always use our own fabric suppliers in order to ensure quality is maintained throughout the making process.
We love to talk to our clients, and will try to have a conversation before visiting you to ensure that we arrive with the right books and samples. When we meet, we’ll talk through your ideas, or offer our own if you aren’t too sure. Over the years, we’ve overcome plenty of hurdles, so a slightly ‘different’ window or style is a challenge we’ll always accept!
Following the visit, we’ll send through a quote for the work, broken down so that you can see how we charge. If you want us to look for a different fabric, we’ll work with you to find the right solution for your budget.
We hand make all of our curtains, blinds and accessories in the workroom and will fit the hardware for you, ensuring that we’ve talked through options regarding operation and explained the necessary precautions we have to take to ensure our products are compliant with child safety regulations.
